An extensive renovation of an unused portion of a basement resulted in a professional-quality screening room where the client's family can relax and enjoy the big-screen experience without leaving their home.
Studio-quality Genelec loudspeakers from Finland provide the thunderous yet detailed sonic performance, while solid construction and acoustical treatments treat and control the sound within the theatre. Seating for seven on plush theatre chairs makes the spectacular experience comfortable for all viewers.
The Nova Scotia Home and Building Designers recognized the excellent planning and execution of the theatre design, construction and calibration and awarded the companies with their 2008 Design Award in the 'Other Design' category.
