Shane began his career in public relations and after receiving a master’s degree in information technology education, worked as faculty in the IT department of Kaplan University and American Intercontinental University in Florida. As Shane's career moved into the IT industry he spent time as a computer programmer, manager of training and development and as a project manager. Shane then decided to combine his experience and education with his passion for electronics and computers and launched uberHome in 2007. Shane continues to utilize his education background through his involvement with the CEDIA registered outreach instructor program. uberHome brings to the industry a commitment to personal service, professional design and documentation, and leveraging current technologies, largely as the product of Shane’s 15 years of experience and education in the IT field. Suzanne Wamboldt, BScPT
Vice-President
Suzanne manages uberHome's business development, marketing and administrative functions. She also coordinates our educational initiatives to design-build professionals including architects, designers and home builders. As a licensed physiotherapist, Suzanne has developed and manages uberHome’s e-health initiatives, using aging-in-place technologies to increase independence in the home. Tony Baak
Systems Consultant
Tony brings 25 years of experience in the audio-video industry to the uberHome team. Tony's background in retail electronics provides him with a wealth of information and experience with several different brands and solutions. Tony is a certified sales consultant for Control4 and since joining uberHome in 2009 has helped grow the business with residential and commercial projects of all shapes and sizes. Mike Vannier

Mike is a CEDIA Level 1 installer, TechReady Installer and OnQ certified technician. MIke brings over 10 years of experience in the security and low voltage cabling industry and his wealth of knowledge in residential and commercial low voltage installations is a strong asset for our team.
Desmond Simon
Programmer/Service Technician

Desmond holds a Diploma in Audio Recording Engineering from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology. Desmond's technical experience spans the fields of audio editing, recording, post-production, live sound, lighting, camera and staging. Desmond's career moved into the residential audio/video installation and automation industry where has received certification through CEDIA, Control4 and THX. Jillian Ettinger
Administration
Jillian holds a Diploma in Paralegal and Banking and Finance. She is the newest addition to the uberHome team and joined us in the Spring of 2010. Jillian has worked in the customer service industry for over 20 years and is the front-line contact for customers at uberHome.
